WHERE TO FISH

GONE Fishing maps

Five maps ship with the game: The Lake, The Canyons, The Swamp, The Jungle, and The Arctic. You choose the map when you configure the lobby. There is no 1.0 document that says you unlock the next map by surviving seven days.

The official map API publishes structures, enemies, and bait spots with world coordinates. It does not label a “safe route” or a high-value hole. Those calls need a playtest this site has not invented.

Depth notes that are community-tested

gonefishing.wiki lists rough deep holes: Lake cliffs past Jeb or Goldfish Cave around 3,000 to 4,000-plus; Swamp cave past the fan boat 6,000-plus; Canyons 7,000 to 9,000 from the boat; Jungle ocean past Bait Island 9,000-plus; Arctic channel about 5,000 or 9,000 by boat. These are guide figures, not official meters.
