Updates

GONE Fishing does not publish semantic versions like 1.0.5. SteamDB records a build ID and a title. The number 6.3.2 that sometimes appears is an engine trace, not the game’s version.

1.0 went live 20 October 2026 at 10:24 UTC, build 26070136. The notes promise a proper ending, eight trinkets, new fish, bait, traps, and hats, and crash and network fixes. Beating the boss unlocks the MOBY rod. Rhizo is the new mythical in deep Lake water and needs that rod.

What the hotfixes actually said

20 October: legendary and mythical achievements were fixed so everyone in the lobby receives them, and the butcher table’s double heart was repaired. 21 October: Yeti spawns, a crocodile dragging a player through geometry, and an invisible whale nuke on the final boss. 22 October, Jeremy Wade changes: hearts no longer revive; its boss has 20 percent more health and player healing is halved. These changes are not stated as applying to all modes. Read the Steam news post before you treat a summary as the whole note.
