WORKSHOP
Mods
There is no Steam Workshop for GONE Fishing. The store feature list names single-player, online co-op, achievements, Steam Cloud, and family sharing. Workshop is not on it.
A Nexus search on 23 October 2026 did not return a page for this game. It returned a Fallout 4 mod with a similar name. That is a different product. Do not install it for this game.
What the rules forbid
The rules page at gonefishing.gg bans client or memory manipulation, edited local files that create impossible results, forged requests or save data, and bug abuse for catches, gambling, duels, progress, or the leaderboard. Penalties include removed entries, voided data, feature limits, and leaderboard or Aquarium bans. Appeals exist. A second ban can be permanent.
- WeMod lists a trainer. That page is a third party. The rules still classify trainers as violations for leaderboard play.
- A community claim that saves are encrypted, and that an 11–20 migration deadline exists, is not in the 1.0 announcement. Treat it as unverified.
- “More than 8 players” is not a supported mod. The cap on the store page is 8.
Questions
Can I mod in more players?
No supported method exists. Public trainers conflict with the anti-cheat rules.
Is there a safe cosmetic mod?
None is endorsed here. No official mod portal was listed on the check date.
