CO-OP

Multiplayer

GONE Fishing is 1 to 8 players. You can play alone, in a squad of two or three, or in a public or private lobby. Public games show up in the server browser. There is no dedicated-server product in the notes. The host runs the session.

There is no console version, so there is no console cross-play to configure. PC cross-play with another store is not documented. Writing “cross-play is unsupported” as an official confirmation would overclaim the sources.

Rules that change with headcount

Upgrade prices scale at about base × 0.5 × player count, so four players do not pay four times. Quota also stops scaling in a straight line. Both figures are community write-ups of the live game, not a sticker on the store page.

Questions

Can I revive a dead teammate with a heart?

Not in Jeremy Wade after its 22 October 2026 changes. The announcement does not establish the rule for every other mode.

Is the cap still 4?

No. Four was Early Access. The store page says 1–8.

Is voice push-to-talk?

V is the default key, and the channel starts muted. Turn it on in options and pick the microphone.
