Orca is a legendary on The Arctic. Older outlines put it in the swamp. The official API does not. On 23 October 2026 the max weight was 50,455.48 lb, the average 24,497.45 lb, catches 139, and max value 13,027.96.

Community notes mention Siren’s Conch as a probability bump and deep water as the spot. Neither a meter depth nor a weather lock is on the official species record. The FAQ’s line that “Jungle and Arctic are mythic fish” is too broad: Orca is legendary and Giant Squid is a Jungle legendary.

Baits with catches

Chopped Bait XLarge, Spider Creature Ragdoll, Walrus, Seal, Penguin, and Chopped Bait Heart appear in recorded catches. MOBY-rod advice for Colossal Squid is not the same as a requirement. The API reports Orca at 50,455.48 lb and Colossal Squid at 232,971.34 lb as historical maxima from different catch samples; these figures are not typical weights or difficulty measures.

Questions

Is the orca mythical?

No. The official 19 February 2026 patch assigned Orca to The Arctic as its legendary fish. The species API itself does not provide a tier field.

Which boat?

The Arctic uses a RIB, per the community map notes.
