GONE Fishing demo
Yes, there is a free demo. Steam app 3708980 went up on 10 May 2025. It contains the first map, the main loop, the main merchant, a lot of items, and some of the monsters.
The full game adds four more maps, more merchants, and more creatures. A developer reply preserved on gone-fishing.wiki says the demo skips a few monsters, the trinket trader, and a few other things. Nobody has published a minute count, so this page does not say “about 30 minutes.”
Demo versus the full game
System requirements on the demo page disagree with the full game page. The demo page still shows 8 GB RAM and 35 GB of disk. The full game lists 6 GB RAM and 6 GB of disk. Treat the demo page as possibly stale and trust the installer.
